Racquet Ball Launcher Prototype

There were two choices to launch a racquet ball, rolling type and pneumatic type.

We had considered various aspects of each method with the ball launching simulation we made.

Finally, we chose pneumatic type for our racquet ball launcher in consideration of ball speed, total weight of system, availability of aiming and reloading etc.

Using solenoid valve, PVC pipe, and 3D printer, we made prototype of launcher, and we brought it to Han-River.

The video shows the test conducted at Han-River.

With the manual control, pneumatic racquet ball launcher generate enough force to propel the ball.

Launcher was manually aimed this time, however, we will produce aiming part with several motors.
