& Control
The ASV should demonstrate that our control system has positive control over the platforms and can detect channel markers.
Find Totems
& Avoid Obstacles
In this mission, each teams are required to do more than just avoid obstacles. It’s needed to find and circle in the assigned direction three distinct objects.
Identify Symbols
& Dock
The ASV should be able to successfully dock into the bays identified by color and shape and demonstrate the ability to dock to the bay in the correct sequence.
Scan the Code
The ASV will observe a light sequence on a led panel and report the correct color pattern.
Underwater
Shape Identification
The ASV should look for objects on the seabed given the quadrant assigned to the reference buoy.
Find the Break
The ASV must scan orange markers placed on or near the seabed and count the segments between a yellow wall.
Detect & Deliver
A four-sided floating platform has a face with a colored shape and a pair of square holes. The ASV must insert racquetballs through the target holes on the face.
Acoustic Pinger-based
Transit
The ASV must pass the assigned ENTRY and EXIT GATES which will be marked by an underwater acoustic pinger.
